Speakers -- aftermarket?

Okay, our speakers SUCK! My laptop gets used for work and occasional around-the-house type stuff, so I don't need a bad-[censored] external solution, but these T22 speakers are just horrendous. I haven't had it long enough to stick headphones in it and see how bad the chipset itself is, but...

Are there any decent aftermarket external speakers that clip onto the side of the display or something like that? I dont' want something bulky and I don't need something hi-fi. Just something that doesn't grate on my ears. Any suggestions?
