Problem with Shift keys

#1 Post by PeterVO » Tue Feb 21, 2006 3:58 pm

Hello,

I've had a T20 for 5 years now and suddenly and strangly both Shift-keys stopped working at the same time. I pulled the left Shift key off and cleaned it but to no avail or is this a Win XP software problem?
What could be wrong and what could be done about it? :(

Kind regards,

PeterVO

you might have enabled sticky keys by accident, that happens when you press shift 5 or 6 times in quick succession

can't remember how to turn it off off-hand, but I don't think your keyboard is broken :)

The options for StickyKeys can be found under "Accessibility Option" at the Control Panel.

Hello,

the sticky keys were enabled but disabling it didn't solve the problem.
Any other ideas to solve this annoying problem?

Kind regards,

PeterVO
