Right DVD- ROm driver for T22

Hallo; I have an old but good Thinkpad T22 equipped with a floppy disk driver. Today I have found on E-bay a used DVD -ROM drive with the model number of P/N 27L4087 . The owner is sure that this DVD - ROM drive is good for all the T2x serie of Thinkpad.
I have a IBM Thinkpad manual book , but I read other P/N numbers for the DVD- ROM drivers.
Somebody can confirm me that I can install this item on my notebook?

I think that i will try to purchase that DVD-ROM..
On my notebook . On installing the DVD-ROM I will need a driver software? Do you know where I can found it, on the web?

There is no driver necessary for the DVD-Rom, however, before you can play DVD movies, you will need a program for watching DVDs. You might want to try Power DVD, or if you'd like a freebie, you can try K-Lite
