video drivers under vmware?

Has anyone happened to run a win2000 install under vmware on their T60p? I've got win2k installed, but the resolution is set at 640x480, which makes working on it a bear. It says it will go up to 800x600, but when I select it it doesn't let it stick; it just reverts back to 640x480. I'm wondering if I need special drivers or something to at least get it to a manageable screen size?

What version of vmware are you using? What is you host OS? Did you install vmware tools?
