Hi,
First of all - thanks very much for this site, it is awesome! I only came across the T61 recently, and it is built like a rock.
I have a 7661 W3S with a T7100 cpu, and it had version 2.12 of the BIOS. I have just used the #1 ISO of the CTRL-FN swap version of the update. The flash seems to have completed (beeping noise,.... loop...., and version number now says 2.29).
However, i note that in the readme it says:
"In case ISO #1 flash is successfully completed but the CTRL-FN swap doesn't work, you have to use ISO #2. "
My CTRL and FN keys don't seem to have swapped around. I am not that bothered by the swap to be honest. But going by the readme, does this mean that the flash did not go to plan, and that i will need to use #2 ISO even if i don't care about the swap? I only ask because i've just gone through the last of my CDRs and it will be a few days before i can go out and get some more.
Take a look at our

Middleton BIOS 2-part flash for CTRL-FN swap
Re: Middleton BIOS 2-part flash for CTRL-FN swap
Just an update in case it's useful to anyone else. I got this working some time ago by using ISO#2 which did the CTRL-FN swap
...BUT (obviously) the remapping was probably for a US keyboard, (mine is UK), so now many of the other keys are out of place. Definitely not worth it for the convenience of having CTRL in the 'ordinary' place! I will try to flash with ISO#1 just to reset.
