What makes you think it's a fan error? It seems to me that the fan is spinning fine until the beeps, then it stops. I might be missing something though. What I know is when the fan died in my mom's X200, it was making a very loud rattling noise immediately after switch on, it didn't spin up nicely like the fan in your vid.

Re: T61 fan error + 3 beeps. How to fix it?
A repairman told me it could be a problem in the BIOS because the fan was not detected. I can't find where in the BIOS the fan is validated. I do not want, that repairman repair my laptop again because he says the computer is too old, even though it runs on valid operating system (Linux). So, I want to know where in BIOS the fan connection is confirmed.

One more thing. The beeps on my laptop do not match with the symptoms in the literature

Many years ago I had a car.
Then one day the speedometer stopped showing the speed of the car.
It just showed 0 kilometers per hour all the time, even when the car was moving.
It turned out to be the rotation sensor that was broken.
Just an easily replaceable piece screewed into the motor.
To me, it sounds like the rotation sensor inside your thinkpad's fan is broken.
I believe that you will need a replacement fan.
