Replacing motherboard in thinkpad t60 15.4"

Hi, i have thinkpad t60 widescreen model 15.4", it is type 8742 and it have ati x1400 graphics. Lately graphics stop working, there are strange artefacts on boot screen before even windows start loading, and when windows sequence is starting, the display looks like it is burining from the center and after couple seconds it is almost all black. it is completly unusable, when i connect external monitor it is the same. i think my graphics card is dead so i need to replace motherboard. i found motherboard for thinkpad t60 type 8741, it looks like it is also widescreen model 15.4". does it mean that i can use that motherboard and it will fit without any problem? thanks for help

It lists all the motherboards that will fit in there.

thanks for quick answer but i need clarification.
there are listed 4 types of thinkpad models with multiple motherboards, but all of them are in the same row and fru number is the same for all of them, does it mean they can be used between all this four listed models?

so if i have type 8742, does it mean i can use motherboard with code 42T0120? or this motherboard can only work with type 8741? sorry if my questions are stupid but english is not my first language and i dont know if i understand correctly this manual

That 42T0120 is for a 14.1" or 15" non-widescreen.
It will not fit in a 15.4" widescreen.
Look in that manual that I told you to download, item # 18 on page 123.
