15.4" Frankenpad? Does any R61/T61 mobo fit in 15.4" T60?

Anybody ever tried to put the motherboard from any T61/R61 into a 15.4" widescreen T60 chassis?
Or maybe from any newer models, such as T4x0/T5x0?

I only know of fitting a R500 mobo into a R60 (4:3) chassis. Would be interesting to know if the widescreen boards are backwards compatible as well.

I don't have any wide screen Tseries except W500.
T61->T60 I think it might work.
There are posts about T61 15.4" -> T60 15" 4:3 frankenpads in this forum.
T(W)500 -> T6x.
I want to do W500 -> T60 15" 4:3 and have found 2 problems
- different placement of left connectors. DSUB moves closer to HSF. So to accomodate this chassis must be cut in wounded place (near HSF). Other misplaced connectors pushing for further chassis cutting. I choose other way - replace DP connector with miniDP and transplant connectors to their original locations with ribbon wires.
- but worse problem - is other and misplaced connector for LCD. Using LCD cable from T(W)500 is only part of the clue. For T(W)500 -> T60 15" 4:3 francenpad i think it needs custom build flexpcb cable. But for 15.4" may be it can be done with LCD assembly swap.
