Fastest WiFi card that can be installed in a T60 with modified BIOS??

My T60 currently has a WiFi card with 42T0825 (Qualcomm). I recently flashed a modified BIOS, and I believe it removes the WiFI card whitelist. What's the fastest one I can install? I have Intel 7260 card just sitting around, can I use it in my T60 now?

If the connector is identical to your current wifi-card, the AC-7260 will work with a half-size bracket.
If not, the Atheros AR9380 is a great alternative.

AR9380 is just an AirPort from C2D MacBooks and iMacs. Works really good with my T400. And with Airport in name on ebay is much cheaper.

I also have a Intel 7260 card, but mine is dual band n card. I installed it in a WWAN slot, and while it did work for me, the wifi connection is not stable and craps out every time I download a large file. But for some reason if I put it on a mPCIe to PCIe 1x adapter it works perfectly fine on all of my desktops (even if it's prolonged tortured by Windows update or Steam or the likes of that). Is it some kind of power draw issue or something?

There are two versions of that AC-7260, both should go into the WLAN slot:
PCIE: for T6x/R6x/X6x thru xx30 Series
NGFF: from xx40 onward
