So i found this on marketplace here in Argentina and is around 15 dollars. I want to know if this is a the docking station that has the option to add an external gpu. I asked to the seller if he can send me the tags that are below the docking station but he didn't send them yet.
Maybe one of you that have more experience with this things can shed some light to me.
Thanks guys!

That's the older dock for T40/R50 and older. It won't fit on T60/T61.

If you want external GPU I suggest try an EXP GDC that plugs into your expresscard slot. Mind you neither the dock nor Expresscard EGPUs can accelerate the internal display of T60/T61.

Thanks for the info! I have a t42 too, so maybe it's useful anyway. I'm going to check the capabilities of that piece of gear, thanks!
If i recall correctly, the t61 has a cardbus slot, not express card.

Most T61 have the Cardbus+Expresscard cage. But some have a SD Card+Cardbus or Smartcard+Cardbus. I apologize for not considering perhaps yours doesn't have Expresscard. For what it's worth a Cardbus+Expresscard cage can be swapped in from another T61 or T500 (but not T60), the motherboard has to be removed to access the cage.

The EXP GDC has a version that plugs into an open MPCIE slot. Most T61 have at least one extra MPCIE slot for Turbo Memory or Wireless USB. But I don't particularly recommend this version because those slots are under the keyboard.

Mine only has one slot, so it must be as you say. I don't really have any of those cards so i didn't do any research about that. I have an adapter to use with the mini pci slot, but i wanted a tidier solution. Not that i will use this for heavy gaming as i have much more powerful stuff, but i like to tinker around and game with more period correct hardware.
Thanks for your help, TPFanatic!
