Just got my t60p 2623ddu with a question for all

i cant seem to get the welcome screen to come up.its stuck on the classic windows at startup?

Next i tried to setup the fingerprint where it says to slide your finger 4 times.i did that and nothing happens.So everytime i turn in the notebook it asks for me to swipe my finger.but can still get in by putting pw in.

thats it for now.still learning about this nice notebook.Hope you guys & gals can help me out?THX...
Oh also if any one has any recommendations on setting up as for performance setting running on batteries and when plugged in would great also.You know like turn off hard disk,standby,etc.would like to know what to do.THX again...

you can remove the option of entering windows with pw by finger print software itself ..
open thinkvantage fingerprint software > settings > system settings > logon tab
