Laggy Trackpoint Scrolling

#1 Post by Shade » Sun Apr 20, 2008 4:05 am

When I scroll with my trackpint here on this forum it is just as smooth as when I pull the bar on the right up and down.

But on many other sites it really lags. Especially on facebook.com.
When I scoll down with my trackpoint it takes 1 second for it to start, then it lags all the way down. Then if I suddenly scroll up again it freezes, and then starts its laggy trip up after 2-3 seconds.

If I then on the other hand hold the bar on the right and pushes it up and down it runs smooth as Halle Berrys a**, on the same exact site where my trackpoint scrolling it lagging.

Soo...

Anyone..?

Yeah, it could be. But I've allways had problems with drivers for ATI x1400 128 mb.

I've tried the drivers provided by lenovo, I've tried the ones offered by microsoft from microsoft update, I've tried the newest catalyst drivers, and some old ones, and right now I'm running with ATI Omega drivers.
But it's never actually ran PERFECT, so I don't know what to do anymore.

Try the Trackpoint drivers directly from Synaptics at:
