ThinkPad X40 making a squealing noise.

My ThinkPad X40 is making a loud squealing noise when plugged in. The noise goes away if you move the AC adaptor in the port on the laptop. I've never seen something like this before and am at a loss as to what is causing it.

Check the wiring of the AC-socket, or replace it.
Or try another charger.
