Access IBM button and volume controls don't work in XP?

#1 Post by ag2014 » Thu Dec 25, 2014 1:54 pm

Hello again. Sorry to ask for help again, but it's a minor issue. Since the X41 tablet I got didn't came with restore disks, I had to install the Windows XP Retail disk and most of the drivers from Lenovo's website. However, after installing the hotkey integration drivers, I still couldn't get the Access IBM button and the volume control buttons to work. The blue button works when using it to boot into Rescue and Recovery, but in XP, it simply does nothing. I know it opens the Access IBM application when pressed in XP. I installed that, but still no result. And pressing the volume control buttons doesn't change or mute the volume. I had to adjust the volume manually. I tried searching everywhere in the forums, but most were related to getting the blue button to work with Rescue and Recovery. And Google didn't help either. So, is there something else I'm missing, or is there a registry value I could enter in Regedit to make the buttons work? I would appreciate it if someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks.
