r61I RECURE&RECOVERY
I was making a rescure&recovery disk and the poewer went out at home, now it want let me finsh downloading my disk since the power came back on. What do you think I need to do? I have a R61i Thinkvantage.

Hi Janet, welcome to the forum...
Backup anything on the hard drive that you want to save, then run "Restore to Factory" configuration from the R&R partition. Once that has been done, you will once again have the option of making recovery disks. Disks can only be make once. The software probably "thinks" you've made the disks, even though it failed to complete.

I can't reformat now. when I try I get a message (1 of the INFFile\minint\texsetup.Sif is invalid. setup can not continue)

Hmmm....the recovery partition must have become corrupted by the power failure. I suppose you could post an WTB (want to buy) ad in the forum market place for a set of Recovery disks.
