Whitelist Removal

#1 Post by stackbage » Fri Oct 04, 2013 3:50 am

Hello guys,

First of all, sorry for my bad english. :D

I didn't know where to put this, so i decided to put it in here.

I have OSX installed on my Lenovo G500s. So the problem is, that OSX doesn't recognize the Wireless Card which is integrated in it.
Furthermore I bought an another Wireless Card which should be recognized from OSX. Next Problem, the Whitelist. I can't get my Notebook to boot with this Card.

So my question is. Is it possible, to remove the Whitelist from the Bios? And is someone here who can do this for me? Because I have not a clue about this.

Greetings

Stack

First, a little more info such as the type of Thinkpad you have would be helpful. The 7 digit machine type is always informative.

In general, removing the BIOS whitelist can generally be done with a modified BIOS. For most folks, myself included, this is done by finding, downloading a modified BIOS that have been know to work.

To be precise, it's a Lenovo IdeaPad G500s
Prozessor: Intel Core i5 3230M 2,6GHz
Grafikkarte: Nvidia Geforce GT720M/Intel HD 4000
Arbeitsspeicher: 8GB DDR3 SDRam
Mountain Lion 10.8.5

I already searched for a modified BIOS, but I couldn't find one. So I thought maybe someone can do this for me.
