Calling all 3000 C100 Owners - Help needed

I need to find an Atheros based Mini PCI card that works with this laptop. But Lenovo have a list of cards that work with it and fails to power on with any unsupported card in the slot!


Short of me buying every Atheros Mini PCI card I can get my hands on to test and resell, this is the only other option I can think of. I am asking all owners of C100s that have different Mini PCI WiFi cards lyinig around to test them out and post results here.

Lenovo a/b/g - Broadcom chipset

SUPPORTED

Intel Pro Wireless 2915 a/b/g - IPW chipset

Toshiba PA3171U-1MPC - Agere (Hermes II) Chipset

Only a broadcom and intel card are on the whitelist... nothing else.

To that matter, will any intel 2915 card work... or only special ones from Lenovo?
