x200 replacement HDD

#1 Post by Arabian-Nights » Fri Jun 21, 2019 10:18 am

My wife's HDD is approaching full. What is the largest HDD I can install? Is it worth going to SSD? Machine currently has Win7.

I've tested up to 1TB on an X61 (one generation older than the X200), which means the X200 can handle it as well.

Upgrade to SSD? A big YES. The laptop will boot faster and become more responsive. And SSD prices are going down.
Planned Purchase: T480s i5-8350 FHD Touch
Impulse Buy: Thinkpad not named for safety reasons
