Does the x220 keyboard in x230 EC flash work on non-US keyboards?

there's an EC flash to use the x220 keyboard in the x230:

However, it doesn't seem to say whether this only works for US keyboards or non-US too.

Does anyone know?

Works fine on UK-English KB.
Don't see why it wouldn't work on other languages as well.
