Hi,
A lot of people are very happy with their Lenovo , but not so much anymore with their 1.8 inch SSD performance, which is quite poor for modern day usage.
After several iterations I have developed a low-cost premium solution that would make it easy to upgrade your SSD to modern read/write standards (like mSATA Samsung 860EVO): a custom microSATA caddy/adapter for mSATA disks that would be suitable for Lenovo, HP and Dell laptops.
It is available to customers in Europe at the moment, but if you need it outside Europe, kindly contact me via eBay.
This caddy/adapter works perfectly with the following laptops: Lenovo T400S, T410S, T410SI, X300 and X301.
It will also work fine with HP 2530P, 2540P, 2730P, 2740P , DELL Latitude XT2 and DELL Latitude XT2 XFR.

As per the inquiries:
For 2023 shipping from France with track and trace to worldwide will cost 6,45 EUR (around 7 USD).
You might have to pay some local taxes depending on your location.

I refuse to use them after a major fiasco a few years back, but would be interested in having a couple like this for my X301/as a spare and to support the community.

I personally prefer selling internationally via eBay only as payment methods and some taxes are taken care of by eBay.
There are many X301 laptops in Europe with my adapter inside and all are working fine.

As per the recurring questions:

If you need more than one item please find some examples of the shipping costs below:
I only ship with track and trace to avoid any lost in transit issues with the shipping.

BTW If you buy more than 1 caddy/adapter, the price per caddy/adapter is 6 EUR.
There are always more than 100 available for immediate shipping within 24 hours.
The weight of caddy/adapter plus protective box with cover is around 51 g.
The caddy/adapter itself weighs around 18 g.

Hello,
Delivery to Canada has been reinstated as the parcels are now accepted again by LaPoste France for Canada.
Although my caddy / adapter price will remain constant throughout 2025 , the track & trace shipping for 1 item with LaPoste has increased from Eur 6,95 to Eur 7,30 worldwide (starting Jan 2nd 2025).

I have released a similar caddy / adapter for an mSATA SSD for the DELL Latitude E4200. This is a cheap older laptop, but ideal for re-use/ recycling for school/education/charity purposes ( see: https://www.ebay.fr/itm/166263029472 ).
