T520 with Intel HD Graphics 4000

Is there a CPU I can upgrade to in order to have Intel HD Graphics 4000 on my ThinkPad T520?

Currently have i7-2760QM but it is only Intel HD Graphics 3000.

I'd be running Windows 10 LTSC as suggested earlier, so if I understand correctly coreboot is out?

You need a third gen (Ivy Bridge) CPU, which means you need coreboot.
I did see some reports of people claiming that they can get Win10 to work with coreboot on this generation, but I haven't tested it myself.

curious.... in a T520, which would have better performance for general Windows office and browser use.... HD4000 or Nvidia 4200M (in forced exclusive mode, assuming HD3000 is disabled)

It doesnt matter for desktop use, a GMA 915 from 2004 or radeon 7500 from 2001 can do that.
