Microphone Mute Button Not Functional

I have the microphone working on my T520, but the Mute button does nothing. Mute for speakers does work. I have been looking and trying some of the YouTube fixes, but have not found one to fix mine. Anyone on here have that problem that they found a fix for?

Windows 10 Pro. Mute button for speakers works.

I just downloaded Hotkey Features Integration for Windows 10 (64-bit) - ThinkPad and restarted the laptop and now the button works turning the mic on and off.

Yes, that's the software package that you needed to install. Good job firguring it out on your own.

It just happened that your response asking my OS there was a similar topic at the bottom of the page that caught my eye for a different thinkpad with the same problem and that was the suggested fix, so I went searching for the hot key package and that worked for mine too. Thanks for your help.

I found out I still have some buttons that do not work. It is the four for controlling a video, play, pause, forward, rewind, and stop that work with the Fn button. Anyone have any ideas where my problem is.

AFAIK support for those playback keys depend on the media player software, and not the hotkey driver.

Thank you. Then it appears all is working as it should. I really like the T520. I have been unable to use my desktop due to recuperated from surgery and have been using the laptop just about all day long. I would be very very bo!red without it

See above, I did that and all works as it should. The last buttons I was asking about only work for Windows Media Player.
