Blinking battery light T420

Hi,
I have an old T420 that I wanted to try to power up. But, whenever I plug it in, the battery indicator rapidly blinks 3 times, and then stays solid. When I press the power button, whether it's plugged in or not, it doesn't power on. I know there was a recall for genuine Lenovo batteries, but I've used 2 genuine batteries, and tested 2 different batteries after this started happening. Can anyone help me? I can provide a video if needed.
Help would be appreciated!

if it still doesnt go then at worst its done a motherboard
