Rough Price for a T410 1440 x 900 screen.

Hello,

It's been around 3 years since i last posted on here!
I still own both the T410 & X230

Since my last post i have moved to desktop & finally have my own gaming rig which i use daily.

Now to the point of this post.

A few months back i allowed my brother to use my T410 until i built his gaming rig for his birthday.
A matter a weeks before his birthday he dropped my beloved T410 and destroyed the 1440 x 900 Display

I have been looking online for replacement unit / donor laptops but i can barely find anything at a relatively decent price here in the UK.
Even for the gross 1280 x 800 panels they can sell for over 50 pounds!

I have also noticed the lack of donor T410 laptops up for sale on ebay... Used to be loads for sale under 30 pounds, some with screens.

My question is;

Does anyone know of a place i can find a used panel which won't cost a quarter of the value of the laptop?
I really don't want to part the thing out since it's maxed out with ram & even an i7 640m (not the 620m)

I loved using this laptop & would love to get it back up and running at some point.

I suggest your brother should fork out the money, since he destroyed it!
These WXGA+ (1440x900) screens are listed in the HMM:
42T0727 - Samsung LTN141BT08 (low)
42T0735 - AUO B141PW04 V.0 (medium)
42T0731 - LG LP141WP3-TLA1 (best)

Try to get a genuine Samsung/AUO/LG screen (as above), even if it hasn't got the Lenovo FRU.
But you may have to settle for a 'compatible', screens being rare.

He's being pretty stubborn about it, which is leaving me to fork out the cost of a replacement :/

Would a T410s / T400 / T410i Display work in any chance?
or not due to the amount of pins it requires / has

T410s and T400 use different screens.
T410i uses the same as T410.
