Internet access via wifi heating laptop....

Thoughtpad T400 ,p8400,8gb, SSD 250GB,1400X900 ..
The cpu temperature shoots up from 51 to 62 the moment i use the
wifi n.
Is this normal?.
I always in the past used a wired connection and cool environment so
never noticed.....

Did you monitor a corresponding spike in CPU usage?

How do I observe the cpu usage..via task bar?.
some other users advised me to disable antivrus software ..??
I am now using a wifi n usb 2.0 dongle presuming that the internal wifi cards are kaput...
As my y ISP provides only 10-20 mbps (4G LTE) speed the dongle seems O.K.
