How do I take off the mouse buttons on the keypad to remove crumbs?

On a standard key, you just lift up the key vertically and upwards, and it snaps off.

How do I remove the mouse buttons? Is there a leverage point I can use without tools, or a point with a spudger?

Trackpoint buttons? Same as keys, in general. You have to find the correct angle and direction, and hopefully do so without breaking anything.

Touchpad buttons? No idea.

Touchpad buttons are a lot more fragile, I wouldn't try pulling them off. The buttons assembly can be removed from the palmrest.

Perhaps if you stopped eating at your keyboard, this wouldn't be a problem?

Trackpoint buttons generally come off by you prying at the bottom corners, under the red marks, for the LEFT and RIGHT buttons. The scroll button generally require you to remove the left and right buttons FIRST, and then you gently start prying from the top
Touchpad buttons require you to remove the palmrest, detach the touchpad buttons ribbon cable, remove the touchpad metal bracket housing and you get access to the sides of the touchpad buttons so you can do cleaning already. You can remove the touchpad buttons completely by unclipping just like how you unclip a big key like shift key on your keyboard, but you can imagine that is pretty prone to going wrong.
