idiagio.sys errors and Memory Integrity

#1 Post by freeagent » Sun Jan 05, 2025 10:16 am

I posted a message some time ago in the Windows 10/11 sub-forum about error when trying to use Lenovo Solutions for memory test. No responses there.

Today when I turned T520 on, desktop was covered with a series of these messages:

The laptop had just run Lenovo Solutions which had no doubt caused the multiple errors. I do have Win11 installed using the server method I learned in the Windows10/11 subforum.

My first action will be to un-install Lenovo Solutions. Should I uninstall other Lenovo apps as well?

Memory Integrity is currently turned OFF. Don't know if this error turned it off or whether it is off due to this being an in-place upgrade from Windows 10. Given that the T520 CPU is not supported, should I just leave this off or turn it back on? THis article provides some background: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/win ... 521df09b78

If you need to do a memory test on a T520 running Windows 11, load up a copy of Memtest86+ on a bootable medium (USB, CD etc.) and run it from startup. All those Lenovo apps were designed for Windows 7, I would eliminate them all. If any of them still work to any degree on 11, I'd say it's a bonus. :)

I did that before and after upgrading my RAM to 16GB. The error message in post #1 came up later. Presumably because Lenovo Solutions was still active and ran. Since been uninstalled, but some of the other drivers and apps updated when I installed Windows 11. Don't want to delete anything that might still be in use.

Yeah, I would pull all of that stuff. It's trying to load framework for services and drivers for those programs, many of which don't work (as you can see).
