T410s - CPU problem *PIC*

#1 Post by Tr0n » Tue Feb 22, 2011 10:42 am

I have a problem with my T410s. I am not sure if the problem started after last bios update or not. My laptop stopped to be stable. Minimum once a day my system is frozen and I must restart the computer. As a first step I changed and tested RAM memory but RAM memory is OK. When I used Prime95 for CPU test I received errors. Sometimes I have an error after few minutes, sometimes after one hour but always I have problem errors when I am trying to use a stress test. I tested everything on windows 7 64 bit. Can I install an older bios, or the only possibility is to send the laptop to Lenovo?

I attached screens with Prime95

What is your CPU core temp?
use a program like realtemp, coretemp, open hardware monitor, etc.

Also try linX (unpack), or Intel burn test to see if its a prime 95 issue

When the system crashes do you get a BSOD or does the screen simple go black/shut off, then the computer restarts?
