SL410 boot problems

Hi there,
I acquired a ThinkPad SL410 recently, and it it's in nice condition. However, it will not boot past the initial splash screen. I can't get it to respond to any keyboard input. I've tried different RAM DIMMs to no avail. What could be wrong?
