SL400 warranty not showing

#1 Post by mariol90 » Fri Feb 03, 2012 9:21 pm

I have an SL400 which I believe was refurbished. When I bought it, the warranty said it expired 2012-09-14. Now, the website says "Expiration date: 2011-09-16", except it was sent in for a screen repair in November. That took two months, and they also replaced the motherboard and hard drive for some reason. It was sent back with some extra scratches on the top and a disconnected cable inside.
The warranty description on the website says "N/A". Did Lenovo do something strange with this?

Which cable was disconnected? Have you tried emailing them about it? What did they say?

It was for the light on the dot of the i, on the top of the laptop. I plugged it back in myself.
