L520 - aUDIO jACK & vIDEO pORT qUESTION

Dear forum members,

Lenovo is very skint on info with the new units sold.

Do we have 5.1 audio out capable from an L520?

2nd question: what can be hooked up to the video port besides an HDMI cable?

Video output on the L520 is DisplayPort only. You'll need an adapter to use HDMI. Sound over HDMI works (as long as your adapter supports it), and Windows 7 will recognize it as an HDMI audio device, correctly. I'm not sure if 5.1 surround works over HDMI, as I do not have any surround devices.
