My new sl300 touchpad does not always respond to my single or double taps. I have tried changing the sensitivity but it did not help. My wife tried a few minutes on the machine and got fed up with it. Is this a design flaw or something broken in the machine that I have?
Is there any change I can make? I have not called Lenovo yet.
I have been using a T series before and it worked just fine.
tks
Dennis

touchpad problem on new sl300
Re: touchpad problem on new sl300
Welcome to our forum!
From your post I understand that the touchpad sometimes respond. Since you have already tried out setting up the sensitivity, the other thing you may want to check out are the tap zones. If that doesn´t help, I would call Lenovo. BTW, it will be anyway weird if this issue is caused by some default setting of the touchpad.

Re: touchpad problem on new sl300
Is anyone else have this problem on a SL300 or SL400/500?

my thinkpad edge 11" loses pad all the time (about ones a week) and i have not find any reason to that
only way to get it back to work is reset(sometimes 2 or 3 times) but sometimes i have unsaved works open so i have to use usbmouse to save my works first.
also sometimes keyboard is also "missing" eh, it respond but like shift is pressed.. i dont like that all..
not good. i allways liked ibm so i thinked lenovo is good to go but i think i was wrong
