firewire expresscard that works?

Anyone using a W700 and have any success getting a firewire expresscard working?
I have two that work on my t61p, but neither work on the w700, they down't even register as new hardware when I stick them in. I tested an esata card and it works fine so the expresscard slot seems to be working.
Not sure what is wrong. Any suggestions?
