Retro a W500 with bluetooth
wow i cant find info anywhere on the part number for a daughter card for the w500! just picked one up on the outlet site and it didnt have bluetooth and want to get one in asap. even searching ebay for bluetooth and w500 dosent turn up anything. any info would be great thanks

If I were you I'd wait since outlet descriptions are very often off by quite a margin. The machine may very well have BT already...

well its here and no bluetooth.
did do some research and the bluetooth is located in the lcd panel and you need to replace the strip where the indicator lights flash. i think its just a plasitc strip to expose an existing led underneath.
so.... has anyone done it?
im not afraid to pull the thing apart, i already had the keyboard out to reroute a big fat ol wire that was causing a big bulge in the left side of the keypad! rerouted and all smooth now.
i just want to know how many parts ill have to order. the module can be had on ebay for $15 but im not sure if i need anything else.
any help would be great
