Unfortunately, I find myself in a bind as I forgot to bring the power adapter for my T61p as I have gone on a trip.
It is crucial to me, to be able to use my computer. Where I am going, there are several W700 systems (with the 170W adapter). Will I be able to power my T61p with the W700 170W power adapter?
As far as I can understand, both the T61p and the W700 uses 20V DC. My question is then if the actual power jack is the same size (and same polarity)?

Re: Urgent question to all W700 owners
I just tried it, I have a W700 and a T61P. The connector on the W700 is slightly different size than than the one on the T61P, the AC adapter for the W700 wont fit on the T61P. I know the T60P and the T61P share the same AC adapter so I dont think it will work.
