Trackpoint Inversion? (Not drift)

#1 Post by erik-the-red » Fri Oct 26, 2007 8:25 am

The trackpoint on my R61 seems to have become inverted in the left-to-right direction. Top-to-bottom isn't inverted, though.

How can I fix this?

Nevermind, it seems to have fixed itself.

Trackpoint Pointer drift / reversed

#3 Post by mzarum » Tue Jul 29, 2008 11:21 am

Erik

Did you ever find out what caused the pointer reversal in direction or what you called inversion?

My pointer is going bonkers! It suddenly started to drift wildly and has become very sensitive when touching the trackpoint button, the pointer flies rapidly from one side of the display to the other with hardly any pressure to the trackpoint button.

The pointer and response to mouse inputs works fine when a regular mouse is connected and used through the mouse connector in the back.

Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Mike
