TP A31P - 0192-Error systems been tempered with

Hello,

just run into an error Problem:
(1) used an (unused/older/probably functional) A31P Systemboard to rebuild a A31P.
(2) was asked a security chip by the system: 4x4beeps.
(3) added a security chip (the right one for this Board (26P8430)
(4) had to wait, but set date and time
(5) had to wait but get the 0192 error-message displayed. System does not boot into any kind of hardware (floppy,cd, ...)

(6) had to wait, entered bios, activated Security chip,
(7) had to wait, deleted any security information,
(8) had to wait, on reboot: 0192 error.

I do have several security chips of the right kind, probably at least one unused.
Would it help to inserte a unsed one?
Would it help to take off any energy, cmos-battery included, if so how much time has to elapse?

IIRC in those days the security-chip belonged to a specific motherboard, it wasn't exchangeable for another one, even unused.

Your memory still works well...

Sadly, the case is as RBS had stated above and the board is likely beyond repair.
