Z60m and partition magic

#1 Post by dubolik » Mon Sep 04, 2006 4:03 am

Hi
Does anybody know what is the problem when you make partition with partition magic on z60m. After I confirm making of new partition, system can't boot up, cause it says something like: Could not find operating system, so I had to make thinkpad recovery...and I'm back where I started-just one partition:(

I use Acronis Disk Managing Suite.

Worked, as I made severa partitions allready. And if there are potentiall problems, it includes Acronis Boot Loader, which saves a lot of hassle when stuff happens.

:)

Also, might be a small corruption in the boot sector...

I used Partition Magic 8.0 to split C: into C: and D: right after I got my Z60m. No problems at all.
