I've had big repairs done and shipped to me the same day, so there's a chance if the parts are in stock and they are not too backed up that you could ship it in on Tuesday and have it back Thursday. My experience with IBM has been that the good service people have always told me of known delays in advance, and never have I had a repair take longer than a week. Maybe I am very fortunate?
