Could anyone share their experience with or knowledge of these two products or the like?
The Auto Alert by CPSCOM

and/or
The IT-510 (or IT-500 which isn't on the site) by Internet Caller ID
http://www.internetcallerid.com/interne ... alert_.htm
I've tried CallWave, BuzMe, and Internet Call Manager but have found they cost too much due to monthly charges from them and/or toll charges (I often receive international calls). I've also tried Catch A Call and it stopped working after a short time of use. Emerson Switchboard, I've heard, is no better.
I'm looking for a simple solution that will automatically disconnect the modem and allow the phone to ring when a call comes in (needing Call Waiting or not) while using a dial-up.
Thanks.
EDIT:
I see the obvious choice, CPS offers a 1 year warranty and advises to use a surge protector to protect the circuitry from frying (a fried board is not covered).
EEDIT:
Correction, the IT-510 also has a 1yr warranty...hmm
