Keep or sell new 4G 20GB iPod?
I was able to acquire a free iPod (no, NOT from one of those pyramid scheme things), and it's been sitting on my desk still shrink wrapped and unopened since Monday. I originally intended to sell it for $270 or so, but I've been unable to close a deal.
Meanwhile, this thing seems to be extending a "Reality Distortion Field" (RDF) that is making me want to keep it. I've never been much for gadgets, but I'm curious to see if this iPod/iTMS thing is as good as everyone seems to think it is.
For those of you who own iPods - are they all that they are cracked up to be?

Homebuilt PC: AMD Athlon XP (Barton) @ 1.47 GHz; nForce2 Ultra; 1GB RAM; 80GB HDD @ 7200RPM; ATI Radeon 9600; Integrated everything else!
I say sell it and either a) buy your wife (or mom if your not married yet) a nice Mother's Day gift or b) take the proceeds and get a decent PDA which is not only a very effective mp3 player...but also will play movies, give you GPS fun, keep your schedule and a whole lot more

Hi,
I am using my 3G 40Gig IPod also as external storage device. Taking it with me on trips to store photos on it in case my memory card in the camera is full.
Since there is no Firewire port on my T40p I always have to take the AC adapter with me to charge it.
The 4G IPods charge over USB so just se it as external storage media.
and on the side you can listen to musik
Cheers
Jens
