Heh, that's funny. I actually got a better deal though. Anytime I ever have trouble with a ThinkPad or any IBM product, I go to the support site and get the maintenance manual for free.

Also, did you note the line at the bottom, all outside UK bidders must use paypal. That there is fine but we now now he's not in the U.S. so if this really is a scam, then you'll have a harder time recovering, unless you too are in the UK though not by much. Paypal really doesn't seem to care about account holders money nowadays, just so long as they have transactions running through.
