Visa Warranty Extension
Okay going to purchase T series today with Visa credit card. The warranty extensioin does that work on accidental protection? Also does how does IBM or Visa know, what do I have to do on my part it is not automatic is it?
Yes, it's automatic as the warranty extension is provided by the CC company, IBm/Lenovo has nothing to do with it.
No, the accidental damage warranty isn't included in the CC company's coverage as it's considered an insurance policy, not a warranty.
Check your card's website, there should be an explanation of exactly what is and is not covered by the warranty extension.
Regards,
James
