Colored Thinkpads?

Is IBM coming out with colored Thinkpads? I read it in a post earlier today, but I wasn't sure is it is true. If they are coming out with colored ones, does anyone know when or what colors there are going to be? Thanks!

In Japan, acouple of years ago, this was announced (http://sitemaker.umich.edu/edelrc/files/46l3721.pdf) ... never knew what happen!

the title says "color covers for your i-series!" my kanji is a bit limited, but the large paragraph states that it's simply a cover that attatches to the lcd cover and goes on to list all the colors.

sorry, but that's no guarantee that we'll see colored thinkpads anytime soon.

I had the feeling that something was fishy in the announce. However, some magazines did report on color thinkpads by the end of this year... maybe for the eastern market too.

lol, no problem... trying to translate the first sentence in that paragraph gave me good reason to dust off my old college japanese books.

They already did. Traditional and simplified Chinese.

Works great. I always use Babelfish to translate Chinese ThinkPad sites.

Stupid me... how come I did not see that... Thanks G-Man! I have a blind eye... hope that can pass as an excuse...

Defenetly I will be using the chinese at quite a bit now!

I used to use Bablefish a lot but them moved to http://www.google.com/language_tools. But it is much limited there.

BTW: I did many of the translation for Google for my little language http://www.google.com/intl/gl/. I gave back to society!!!

to anyone who knows japanese, babel fish isn't very accurate. but, it's a great tool for those who don't know a language and can suffice with quick-and-dirty translations.

i really hope that i don't see the day where the internet replaces someone's four-year college education.
