Hello,

I got turned down again today for a job with another big corporate name, I won't let on who, but they pay a healthy amount of wonga for a joining graduate. After my bad experience on their website yesterday, I replied with the problems I encountered.

It's worth noting this company has 100,000+ employees, presence in 48 countries and yet they managed to cock up as I describe....

This e-mail is not about why I was turned down. It is about technical problems I encountered with your application form online.

Thank you. When filling out the form yesterday I noticed a few problems, namely that saving your application does not work correctly using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox; some information is lost, some information is not saved, and some is placed in the wrong place entirely (such as third year results for University in the first year box, and work experience/job history being placed in the second year entry box, first and second year results lost completely and so forth).

Of course I found this out when I resumed my application only to find much of my work had been lost/misplaced.

Secondly; even if you have no post-graduate qualification, you still have to select a post-grad' graduation month, which should not be a must select item as not everyone has done a post-grad' qualification.

Thirdly, the questionnaire link once the application has been submitted appears to add random space characters in words, e.g.: 'along' become 'a long'; which may of also occurred on the actual submission to ****** and degrade's the quality of people's well planned answers. I'm sure you can see my concern here for future ****** applicants.

Finally - there was a spelling mistake on the application form:

"Have you already graduated from your most recent univeristy course (including undergraduate or postgraduate studies)?"

I hope that these suggestions are taken on-board and forwarded to the appropriate people in charge of the application form as it was the first recruitment form that I have found through my applications with a spelling error, technical faults with saving and a required field that is not really required in all cases.

I would be interested hear feedback on the issues pointed out which may save some people real headaches when applying to ****** UK in the future.

Vicky, I don't even think it's worth working for a big company that cannot get their website sorted out! Best of luck in your future applications.
