drifting google map with x120e

#1 Post by tetete » Fri Mar 18, 2011 10:13 pm

One problem I found with x120e is that the google map will keep drifting to left if I use the trackpoint and middle button to zoom

I guess this is a driver issue.

any one else been in this issue?

Not this issue, but the "Standard" scrolling has issues sending left/right events in some other cases. E.g. instead of scrolling the window left/right on flickr, it navigates left/right through the flickr stream. I've also noticed other issues with the map moving on flightaware. I think it's an issue with the way the ultranav driver sends the scroll events.

My friend told me about it earlier today. I just fired up Google Maps in Chrome and it was fine zooming in and out. I tried zooming diagonally, and it would zoom to where i wanted and then start scrolling in the horizontal direction. It will stop scrolling on any keyboard keypress.

I am using 'standard' scrolling.
