Hi,
I came across an IBM ThinkPad G40 for sale on our local online marketplace. However, the listing says it is supervisor password locked. I’ve never owned a computer that’s BIOS-locked, so I’m wondering:
- Is this G40 worth buying and adding to my collection?
- Can it still function as a usable vintage laptop, or is it completely useless in this state?
- Is there any straightforward way to remove or bypass the supervisor password in the BIOS?
Thanks
