IMO, going to an E series from a T series is a huge downgrade. If you are trying to stay in a budget, go for an L series instead. I have had my hands on just about every T, L and E series model since about 2015 and it the build quality on the E, as a consumer grade product, is very noticeably poorer than the L or T series. L series, while entry level business and a step below the T series, is still leaps and bounds ahead of E series considering their price point.

I have bought the E15 gen2 with ryzen7 4700u, 16gb, 512gb, 1080p ips panel. While i agree that T series would be superior in terms of build quality, E15 isnt a pile of crap. I really liked the build quality of the machine. Wish the panel was 300nits instead of 250nits but you get what you pay for at the end. I cant really complain and the chassis feels solid.
