I wasn't happy with the 100Base-T USB dongle that came with my X1C as I regularly dump 10gig+ movies to my laptop for the road. I've been looking into USB 3.0 gigabit ethernet adapters, most of them in the $20-$30 range. However, I didn't like the idea that I'd be losing my only USB 3.0 port, and that's when I came across this nifty looking dongle.

A quick search showed there are only a couple direct competitors, and none of them are as compact. Has anyone had any experience with this device? I've only found a single review on Amazon where a user tested this on a Zenbook, and was happy with the results, but didn't mention anything about the USB 3.0 hub transfer speeds.
