W510 Integrated Camera not working under Win 8.1

I can't "find" the integrated camera at all using Device Manager, or any other trick I know. I tried installing the Windows 7 Camera driver in Win 7 Compatibility Mode but that didn't work either.
Does anyone have this setup working correctly? If so, please let me know what you did to get it going.
If it "just worked", let me know that too, so I can decide if I want to open the laptop and look for disconnected cables (apparently that can happen).
Everything else is working just fine.
